In light of recent events, schools are preparing for the possibility that they will need to close and let pupils stay at home. This clearly presents a few challenges for schools and most definitely the parents. Parents may need to stay at home or organise help if this is not an option.
The question on many parents mind will be.. ” How on earth are we going to keep them busy and productive, rather than playing on the PlayStation for 4 weeks straight?” As the students eyes light up with the thought of unlocking new Fortnite dances, parents are thinking of new ways to break up the day and keep their mind active.
There are schools up and down the country that are already well prepared for this and can advise parents on how to implement some form of learning into their days at home. With the likes of portals, apps and learning platforms, it provides the opportunity for pupils to login using any device and gain access to online educational content.
